Springtime in the Andes foothills, walking along an old
cattle trail, wildflowers underfoot, a few more steps and a
flock of flamingos are alerted to your presence…looking
skyward an Andean condor sweeps out of the canyon and circles
lazily overhead.
Drifting along a rocky shoreline, surrounded by penguins,
busy in the whirlwind of the breeding season, some swim up to
study you as you study them… above are flocks of austral
seabirds returning to isolated shores.
